After defeating the bandits, you'll learn from the servant that Vegelbud's son Albert has started dabbling in alchemy, and that Vegelbud wants to get him far away from Novigrad. But who was this son? I don't know the link to anyone I killed and her. Dead Man's Party is a main quest in the Hearts of Stone expansion.
